In short: Superb training run for a superb price
In full: First one of these runs I have ever done and I wish I had done more. Wonderfully attended run which beats long runs alone. Brilliant organisation and fantastic price. £5 for run, coffee and cake.
Marshalls, Water stops and Jelly bean stop all very well manned.
Friendly helpful and well marked. Spot on - this is the way all races should be! Well done Gade valley!

In short: Great Race, Great Weather, Great Day, Great Crowds - Just!!!!! GREAT!
In full: Apart from the fact the undone lace cost me a PB this was an awesome race. London really delivered some fantastic crowds. If you love the crowds of the marathon but cant do the distance - this ones for you. Great Route,Great PB potential (Laces allowing) Great setup all round. Well done BUPA.

In short: Hot and Hilly - But good none the less
In full: Nice smooth organisation and nice route made this sunny Sunday morning a very pleasent one. You would be very lucky to nail a PB on this course as it's fairly hilly - especially in the weather it was like today. Nice race and my kids loved the fun run afterwards - if I had one downside, I woul dhave to say the goodie bag didnt justify the entry fee :-(

In short: Goodbye Flora - Another great Year
In full: Apart from the usual slow start with slower runners some how being allowed in pens infront of faster runners this was a beautiful race. The weather was glorious, the crowds where the best yet, all the way along the route. Water and Zade stops were well manned and regular. Goody bag was good, T- shirt a little dull I thought and the medal was not much different from last year! Great race, Great support, great weather - just.............. great

In short: What a Fantstic per London GEM!
In full: This race is awesome, the perfect last long run before the FLM. Although just 20 miles, add in the hills and your legs have done the work of 22 - 23 miles. Nail this one and your confidence for London will be sky high. Marshalls and race organisers where briliant and helpful. Water stops and Mile Markers were there just when you needed them. Air cadets did a great job on the Water stops, well done! Weather was beautiful, Scenary was magical, local support tremendous.... WHat can I say - I loved it! Brilliant!!!!!

In short: Good Warm up race for the big day
In full: Lovely weather was on show as where alot of spectators. Not a PB this time round but only 40 seconds off it. A few more inclines than I thought there woul dbe, goody bag was good, although T Shirt was MASSIVE! Getting to and from was fine for me, no problem, overall a great little race, great support when you really need it, well manned water stops and marshalling. All in all a good race and a nice day out. Slight delay at start and scenarie was as dull as it gets. Other than that - spot on

In short: Three words - Stick to Paris
In full: Having done the Paris Marathon a week before this one I feel I am perfectly qualified to compare the two. Put simply there is no comparison. Paris and the Frnech have got London Licked. The Paris and French handling of such a big occasion is about 100 times better, both for runners and spectators. I am gutted to be honest My time in Paris was 3:28:01 and in London 4:17:40 because I was stuck behind 30,000 slower people! I had high expectations of this one and have been let down badly. Such a shame! Even the sights are crap - the only inspiring moment is crossing tower bridge! Boring Race.

In short: What is it with the Weather and this race !!!!!
In full: Second year I have done this now and the weather was just as bad as it was last year, OK it wasn't raining as hard but the wind on the last 2 miles!!!
Anyway apart from Mother Nature being a B**** the race itself still remains one of my favorites of all time. Nice fast flat race - loads of public support. Well marshaled. My only real complaint this year was that the goodie bag was very tight. They seriously need to start putting some effort into those! Me personally I got a PB by about 30 seconds (would of been a bit more if it wasnt for the wind!) Great day.
Oh one more thing .... they are now charging £3 for parking????? Whats that about
