In short: Lots of aches and pains but worth it for the scenery.
In full: This was the first time I has taken part in this race and found the first 4km hard, so much so I walked most if it. After this it was great and everybody at the back with me was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this race.

In full: Even though I try and run regularly I don't always enjoy pounding the pavements. This race changed my mind and I actually found myself thinking I'm enjoying this as the scenery was stunning. I have now entered the Coniston race after being inspired by this race.
