In short: Course is a vast improvement
In full: Far better course than previous. Whole race is on road & quite flat. Trunk road is long and boring but that cant be helped. Carpark closed because of waterlogging is not the organisers fault. Rather have a medal than a T shirt, only have so much draw space these days.

In short: marvellous
In full: Forget the driving rain, hailstones, gale force winds, flooded roads & horrible hills. Think of all the good bits......cake and coffee. Still one of the best races around

In short: Mini Dentdale. Lovely race
In full: Nice little race. Smallish field, quiet roads, couple of hills. Beautiful scenery. Quaint pubs, glad i decided to stay the night. This type of race is far more interesting than your town centre 2000 runner event. Get yourself here next year.

In short: Tough as old boots
In full: Very hilly race, but if you want to run in yhis glorious part of the world, thats what you get. Well organised, lovely, polite marshalls. The sort of race all club runners should take part in regardless of ability

In short: Beware the hills and the dog mess
In full: quite tough, but enjoyable. Its a pity the local dog walkers dont clean up after their pets. Never seen so many dog eggs on public paths. Putting bags on my trainers next year.

In short: Well organised. excellent start
In full: Should stay as a 10k for a couple of years. Hope the half marathon does not deter beginners and novices. Though i hope it attracts plenty of runners discouraged by the Great North run's extortionate fee
