In short: Excellent all-round
In full: Well organised, parking close to start, efficient bag storage, scenic route for the most part, fairly flat, encouraging marshalls and good support at the finish. Highly recommended. Oh, and got a PB!

In short: Great fun !
In full: Put all thoughts of a PB well out of your mind and enjoy ! Very muddy, very hilly but great fun. First time I've ever walked in a race - near the start due to steep hill and queue of runners and at mile 4 where it was physically impossible (at least for everyone I saw). Trail shoes would be good if you have them but most people managed in ordinary runners, but don't bring your shiny new ones ! Organisation was great for the first time the race had been run. Marshalls were really encouraging - thanks to all of them (especially the guy at the bottom of 'the' hill who may have learned a few new words) and there was a great atmosphere at the finish. Nice tee-shirt and the bacon rolls and home-made cakes at the end rounded off a great morning. I'll be back .....

In short: Very enjoyable
In full: Reasonable entry fee, well organised, scenic route, nice medal and decent goody bag. Very good for the first time for this event - looking forward to next year. Only minor criticism could be for the PB-seekers as parts of the route along the canal don't allow for easy overtaking. Overall a fantastic race

In short: Fast course, vey well organised
In full: Got a PB by 3 minutes so very happy ! Very pleasant course with only a few fairly gentle inclines. Very well organised and started spot on time. A little bit of a squeeze at the start leaving the race HQ but nothing to worry about. Decent number of loos.
The only thing I would like to suggest would be to have manned kit storage which could only be collected by showing your number - I felt a bit unconfortable just leaving my kit in a tent.
Overall a very good race and definite PB potential

In short: Well organised and friendly
In full: Well organised, started on time, very friendly. Plenty of space to change in the school and efficient bag storage. 2 flat laps around the village, although overtaking tricky in places on narrow paths.
Would definitely do it again.

In short: Challenging Hills !
In full: Great organisation - close parking, lots of loos, prompt start, efficient finish. B prepared for the hills, especially the long one from around 11 miles. Good job the final stretch to the finish line was downhill! Not one for a PB probably, bit I'd recommend it.

In short: Great organisation
In full: slighty muddy/slippery first and last 100m or so on grass but apart from that excellent. Well organised, started on time, well-marshalled and PB into the bargain. Very friendly race and texted results were a nice surprise. Looking forward to the August race.

In short: Good PB potential, apart from the weather
In full: My first marathon and thoroughly enjoyed it ! First 6 miles downhill from Princes Street to the coast then about 12 miles along the coast and into the wind then turn around with the wind behind you to the finish. Good support at the start, then sporadic (but quite dense and enthusiastic in places) along the way and a great finish with lots of spectators in and around the grandstand at the finish. Was pleased to have my name on my shirt as having 'personal' encouragement en-route was great.
Race itself well organised with 4 lucozade sports stations and lots of water stations with no major congestion. Only minor drawbacks were some problems for supporters getting the public buses from the start to the finish and a long wait for shuttle buses from the finish back to town when tired (good job the rain had stopped then)
Overall a great day

In short: PB heaven
In full: Flat, very well organised and nice scenery. Good support from the marshalls and very good weather as well. Excellent PB potential - I took 7.5 minutes off mine ! Initial loop of 1 mile followed by twice round a 6 mile loop meant that supporters got to cheer you on several times. Only criticism was the lack of water ready to grab at the first water station. Would definitely do this one again.
