In short: Ideal in the right ways
In full: I was not sure what to expect, but was very VERY impressed with the event. A considerable amount of organisation certianly seemed to have gone into preparing for it.

In short: Great once again.
In full: 209 Events have obviously been continuing to work EXTREMELY hard to hold this each year. Thank you EVER SO much for making it a thoroughly enjoyable event once again.

In short: RATHER tough, but USEFUL training.none the less.
In full: It would have helped to have had MORE specific information about the course as it was A LOT different to what I expected. The value of the event, which I felt was poor, EXTREMELY poor was also SOMEWHAT deceiving. Surely the registration fee could have got a T-Shirt as well as a medal, for example.

In full: This has become one of my favourite races, which I would recommend to any beginner who wishes to race in either the fun run or this event. The organisation was excellent, a lot of people worked EVER SO hard despite the conditions which were the coldest that I have known them to be, whilst I have been taking part anyway, for which MANY MANY thanks to everyone involved. It was obvious that a considerable amount of planning had gone into the event and thought deciding to have the use of a locker particularly was a SUPERB idea EVEN IF was RATHER expensive, but anyway was better than having to race with my rucksack on my back, which was what I did a year ago.

In short: Great race and good fun
In full: I do not normally do this type of racing so I was not sure what to expect, I enjoyed the event thoroughly however, there is nothing like trying something different is there really. The marshals were extremely encouraging and for a race its size, it was excellent and the badge given at the end was a nice gesture, something different from getting a medal, a unique reward. What I was not one hundred per cent sure about though was how accurately the course was measured, there also seemed to be some confusion over the route, I followed it fine, there seemed to be a handful who found it hard to follow however.

In short: Great race and organisation much much better.
In full: I was very impressed. 209 Events have certianly transformed the event which is an even better race now. Thank you ever so much. All the work which was put into organising the event definatly paid off.

In short: Organisationally challenging
In full: The organisation of this event seems to get worse each year, which is a REAL SHAME really as it is an excellent event to raise awareness and money for such an important cause.

The entry fee seemed RATHER a lot for the RECEPTION we got though: no registration, helping yourself to your t-shirt, I could go on, quite a lot has been said already anyhow, nor am I sure about the guidance on bag storage. Is this what the local police really said? What happens if you come on your own, where do you put your bag? It's hard to race with a rucksack on your back if you have to!

Regardless of the event being organisationally challenging, that seems to have become a feature of the race, there seeming to be no change each year, I enjoyed it thoroughly and it was a definitely an ideal run to begin the year with, more special this year of course because it was actually being held on Valentines Day on this occasion.

In short: Great race! Value exceptional!!
In full: I did the race as a training exercise and thoroughly enjoyed it, the event was great! The location and weather could not have been better and the atmosphere friendlier and overall exceptional value for money.
