In short: Fantastic crowd support, nice touch having name printed on numbers.
In full: didn't notice mile markers except for split timing points.

In short: Definitely not my favourite race, more like a long training run with a few spectators, good marshalls tho.

In short: Harder than I expected
In full: very scenic in parts but also mind numbingly boring in other parts, especially last 6 miles. There were stretches that got quite lonely, even for a 4hr finisher, which is often the most congested finish time. Spectators were excellent but few & far between. Also found the heat quite hard but that's a personal thing.

In short: better than I expected after reading last years reviews
In full: Start, finish & parking all well organised, had no problems queuing for chips or toilets, both queues moved quite fast. Spectators were sparse in places, but found all of them enthusiastic & cheerful. Water stations all well manned. Traffic in final 1/2 mile were all courteous & allowed us to cross road. A good day out.

In short: vary crowded for most of race, only negative point (not organisers fault) were the people who lined up at expected finishing times way out of realistic times & then held up people trying to pass them.
