In short: Scenic 10k run through the Norfolk Countryside!
In full: Very well organised run starting from Greshams School, which makes a good base. Well marshalled, thanks to them as it was very cold! There is a small off road section which makes for a pleasant change. T shirt as a momento which I prefer. Would definitely do it again.

In short: Fast flat course around Dulwich
In full: I travelled from Norwich for this, though to be fair that was really because the other half got a place in the Royal Parks Half Marathon! The on the day organisation was ok though as I was a late on line entrant there was sone confusion about my number. There is no secure bag storage which was a slight issue as I was on my own, so I left it in the changing tent, to be fair, it turned out ok. The route is flat and well marshalled, the water station was well run and you pass it twice. Overall I enjoyed it, however you don't get any form of
momento or bag, therefore it is expensive.

In short: Very well organised event.
In full: This was the first running of this race. It was very well organised. It runs through villages and a forest trail. Nice medal and free cake at the end! I would definately do it again.

In short: Well organised trail race!
In full: It may start in a city park but this is definitely more of a trail race. Nevertheless it's very well organised, has a good runners village and good support around the course. Thanks to the marshals for giving up their day, all in all a good morning out!

In short: Flat course but can't quite put my finger on why I didn't enjoy it more!
In full: Firstly thanks to all the marshals for giving up their day. There was a few problems picking the numbers up from the hall there was a slightly bizarre singular queue which involved a further trip to register for the NCC then a further queue to pick up the chip. There was a reasonable runners village, I think I would have enjoyed it more had I not had to walk back and forth to the car which was a fair distance. The first 5k are run through an industrial estate, the second 5k are better as they run along the sea front. It was flat all the way around and in places support especially in the run in. All in all it was ok I'd do it again as I live in Norwich, I spent some time running next to someone who was not local, would they have thought it worth the travel, that's debateable.

In short: A pleasant run in the city
In full: I travelled from Norwich to do this so I was hoping it would be worth the trip.... Fortunately it was! It's not the cheapest race in the world but all the road closures bottles of water and sports drinks have to be paid for some how. There is a large (10,000+) field but the start is well organised and you soon get in your stride. There is good support all way around and the end is well organised so there are no queues. Like I said not the cheapest but very well organised oh and I particularly like the medal!

In short: Good time had by all!
In full: Ran this race this year with a friend who had not done a 10 mile race before. Good size field with a fair spread of runners of all abilities means there is something for everyone. Well organised HQ and friendly marshalls make this a great race to enter!

In full: Did this race a couple of times a few years ago now and re entered this year and I am glad I did! For some reason its always sunny! Great HQ, good support around the course and a fab tech t shirt on completion what more could you want! Thanks to the marshalls for giving up their evening, all in all brill!

In short: Hot hot hot!
In full: Yet again a very well organised race. Well organised HQ and start. Plenty of drinks stations and encouraging marshalls. The course is not flat, that hill the second time around was a killer!! Nonetheless well done CONAC!

In short: A view from the back!
In full: Not done this race before and glad i did!
There was nearly a delayed start due to a cow on the lane (only in Norfolk!)then it got underway. Its a very flat 2 lap course with typical Norfolk countryside. Marshalls were encouraging. There were alot of club runners though enough prople of my standard (low!) so that you always had someone to run with.

At the end you got a tumbler and creme egg but the best bit was in the hall. Tea and coffeee in china cups, homemade cakes and cumcumber sandwiches! Oh and sports massage- for free! Well they ask for a donation - which- i can say was well worth donating for! Big thank you to all concerned including the enthusiastic supporters by the pub and in the run up to the end! See you next year!
