In short: flat ish, two lap course not pretty. Alot of wind today (but on coast) expensive for just a cheap medal
In full: Expensive £22 for just a cheap medal only water at end. Did this as it was flat and hoped for pb, didnt count on very strong wind for 8 miles, (But cant blame organizers for that.)Wouldnt choose to do this again as there are better pb courses around, and not good value for money.

In short: Fast course with the odd bridge.
In full: Good run, and chance of PB. Well worth running and would do it again. Only negative is that getting away from race the traffic was not good. Suggest you park well away from race as possible.

In short: Great run through the woods, pretty flat only one small hill. The start this year is a little congested
In full: Great race off road on paths, dont need off road shoes, PB potential. The start was a bit tight on the road and a squeeze through the gate with over 600plus people. A tree for all great idea much better than a tee shirt. Will do again

In short: Very well orgainzed, then sent text within 1hr with time and place results amazing!!
In full: First time to run this, expected more people approx 2000. Very well organized so much so that a text from organizers was sent to mob. within 1hr of finishing with gun time, chip time and place. (Never had this before) also results online same day. Course is not flat with some drawn out hills. Well worth my trip from Bristol!!

In short: Would not run it again unless organization was greatly improved
In full: Had to wait over 1hr at park and ride, not enough buses. Start delayed 1 hr, runners village on a field in winter!!! MUD. Start to cramped runners mixed up and no time segregation. Support good and city of Bath deserves better from the organisers.

In short: Good race much better organized at the start this year.
In full: My only negative is that if in the future they increase the numbers then they must be very strict on the start positions. The Great North Run has a good system last year with pens that had restricted entry. Bristol will suffer if they dont get strict on this.

In short: Worth doing and would run it again
In full: It is a two lap race with a hill on each lap, so dont expect any PB's. Through country lanes and quite competative, but still OK for beginners. Winner did it in just over 32mins!!. Not me.

In short: Great Atmosphere would do agaign but hotels a BIG RIP OFF
In full: The race atmos was great, the red arrows flying over the tyne bridge as you run over it was special. It was VERY well organised. The only negative was the accomadation. I booked via the accomadation hot line (supplied by the organisers) and I stayed in a travel Inn type place that normally would cost £60/night. I was charged £180/per night and was made to book two nights. (one night not allowed.) This was a complete rip off. Considering the fact that most people do this for charity, there was no charity given by the accomadation people!!!
