In short: Lovely scenery, a few hills and a bit of mud - Great! In full: Beautiful scenery round the house and the lake, but unfortunately you are a bit too tired to enjoy it following the hill at 3k! It is a very enjoyable course and is quite challanging, worth training on hills for. That said, very beginner friendly and there were quite a few people walking.
It is a worthy cause and should be supported. Date of review: October 16, 2006

In short: Would do it again. In full: Such a shame about the weather! As a first timer and a beginner I thought it was a nice course, however the KM markers were hard to see up to 4k and then I really had to look out for them after that. Spectators and marshals were great. Date of review: May 22, 2006

In short: Muddy and fun! In full: Good for beginners. Commentary at the end was nice, although the finish is a bit demoralising having to run all the way down the field! Date of review: January 23, 2006
