In short: All about getting a new PB!
In full: Agree with all the other comments. 4 laps of a lake near Windsor, flat as you like but very boring.
I got a PB so very happy and if I was chasing another one, would do this again, however would not consider this as a fun / training run.
Organisation was fine but very expensice for a mug and a lucozade bottle. Had a friend run her first half so upset she did not have a medal or t-shirt to show for her efforts.
Justification for the cost was the seminar by Liz Yelling however I could not attend. Maybe next year they should just charge those were interested in going along.

In short: Start the year as you mean to go on!
In full: First time doing this one and after excessive festive fun I was almost hoping that the race was going to be called off but I'm glad it was not despite being 7 minutes outside my PB.

Yes it's far more hilly then most racrs I do but my mistake was starting right near the back. The first 2 miles it was almost impossible to overtake (especially considering the icy conditions). Because of this, the hill came as a shock second time round when I was able to go a bit quicker! Lesson learnt for next year.

The scenery is wonderful especially running across the downs at the start. Organisation was great and as mentioned by most below, the marshalls were fantastic, always smiling and encouraging despite the fact that they must have been absolutely freezing.

Will be back next year, thanks all at Tadworth.

In short: Sea-side fun!
In full: I too travelled a few hours to get to this race and it was worth every minute.
I knew it was going to be a multi-lap, as would everyone else who entered had they done the smallest amount of research, so there can be no complaints there.
The start area was pretty busy with everyone sheltering from the rain in the start tent but I made my way to the clubhouse opposite which was empty, so changed, used the loo and relaxed there. It was avaialble to all as I heard a few announcements being made but people seem to be happier huddling together in the tent.
The weather in the end was ok, the rain was light (unlike for the kids run) and the wind not too strong.
For a Londoner anytime spent by the seaside is a joy so I loved running by the coast. The marshalls were absolutely fantastic and those with race clipboards often called out individual names. The 3rd and 4th laps seemed to go by pretty quickly and it was quite inspiring to see the elite athletes running in the opposite direction. I was determined not to get lapped but unfortunately failed! 31 seconds outside my PB (Wokingham) so was very happy.
Cake at the end was of course wonderful.
Well deserved sleep on the train home ended a great day. Thanks so much Bexhill for a fantastic race. It's these sort of small, friendly races that keep me wanting to come back for more.

In short: Fun in the sun and a PB!
In full: Ok so I am a bit of a freak, I much prefer running in the heat then the cold so was quite happy to run this in late May rather then the original date in February. It was hot but I got a PB (by over 2 mins).
The course is undulating but there really are no big hills at all and seems to be loads of down over the first half of the race.
Organisation was great. I heard a few moans about the lack of water stations but I though they were ample and all the stewards were absolutely fantastic; lots of clapping and happy faces.
Overall I had a fantastic morning in a lovely part of the world and will be braving the colder version in 2010.

In short: First time I did this and used it as part of my NYC Marathon taper. Small and friendly race very well organised. It is challenging, lots of hills but none of them killers. Hope to be back next year.
