In short: Glorious day, great route. Some marshalls a bit morose, but overall a great race. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
In full: Overall very good. Seemed better organised than 2 years ago when I did this. Perfect conditions for running and such a pretty route. The PA announcer was a little aggressive (school teacher?), and I quote, "come on give them a cheer, all of you just stood at the side there, drinking your coffee, come on, clap!". Quite funny, I thought. Will definitely do this again.

In short: Did this last year and couldn't wait to come back!
In full: Very well organised. Friendly marshals with lots of encouragement. Lots of mud. Decent medal. Job done! Shame about the woman singing along to her ipod during the minute silence at the start.

In short: Well organised and very enjoyable event. Bit hard on the ankles at times but beautiful day and nice scenery combined with friendly runners, marshalls and organisers made for an excellent experience.

In short: The odd niggle on the organisational front but nothing to spoil an excellent day and a very enjoyable run.
In full: Some observations from the day:
1.The brilliant marshal that split the one long queue of cars into two streams, only for them to have to merge 400 yards down the road :-)
2. The 7km marker - surely not!
3. As usual there were some impatient idiots tooting their horns where the course crosses the road at about 5k. It's sunday - chill out people.
4. Fantastic course. Challenging incline at 9k is a nice touch.
5. This was my first ever 10k. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back next year. Highly recommended.
