In full: Bar the false start, it was a nice, pleasurable race. For the first time, I really enjoy this race. Even the uphill Beehive lane was fun. Course challenging in parts. All in all once again a well organised event and worth doing. The only negatives is for the first time you get a mug for finishing rather than the medal. For £17, you feel like a mug for running it. Chip-timing, not sure the need when previous years without was acceptable and could save money on entry fee. Still a great race anyway.

In short: Very hot!
In full: A great race but its very challenging.
The long roads which are uphill then downhill for the first half can be hard work. The sun will bear down on you as its a very exposed course. Would have done with some showers on the course. As ever, its well organised and marshalled. Well done on the organisers clampdown on ipods with the start banner clearly stating it. Look forward to next year. Hopefully not as hot.

In full: A wonderful race. Usual challenging course. But most of all it was well marshalled and supported along the course. Nice to see bottled water and also bins provided too. Downers, those who ignore the instructions of no ipods/mp3s and the medal. Got a funny feeling the organiser got a secret stash full of medals so every year they need to put new ribbons. But despite that, a great race and will return once again.

In full: Despite avoiding the downpour before the race, it was a good race overall. The course is a typical rural up and down course. Nice to see a 10k race with mile markers which makes a change. The wind play its part and you can feel it in exposed areas. The final 1.2 mile is back onto the main road and back towards Chelmsford Athletic Centre and the finish. The course started off well, not badly marshalled but have to be careful if theres a car about. The finishers reward of a Chelmsford AC kitbag is an improvement on previous years but would like to have a medal for finishing. In all, a good race, nice course, organisation acceptable.

In full: Its not as good as the old course.Bit of a tight squeeze getting through the gate after exciting the school. The narrow footpath due to roadworks slow runners down. Its a quick course but there are some climbs here and there. I enjoyed the final mile. Nice goody bag and medal and well supported and marshalled by garden city joggers.

In full: How the hell I forgot to rate this one.
A nice race, the country roads provide a few challenges especially that hill towards the end. The t-shirt good as ever and most of all well organised by Thrift Green Trotters.
Looking forward to next year.

In short: WET,WET,WET!!!
In full: If only for the rain and the wind.
Soaking wet and very little chance of running a fast time.
Course is challenging. First 2k is uphill which can play on the legs.
Nice course, well organised, well marshalled and well supported too. A long time since getting a mug for finishing. Look forward to next year, hopefully the weather will be better.
