In short: A good race: difficult to organise such large numbers in a tight areaa In full: Having organised running races in the past, I know how difficult it can be to get things perfect on the day. This was my first time running Bath and given the restrictions the organisers had to work with, I think they did a good job. Not sure I'll run it again though until either they are able to find a bigger venue to start/finish from...or restrict the numbers to make everything more manageable in a tight area.
If you're looking for a big half martahon race with a HUGE atmosphere and New York Marathon style crowd support, then choose Bath. Just approach it with an open mind that things can be a few hiccups on the day. Date of review: March 16, 2009
