In short: A race to enjoy not worry about a time.
In full: A big thank you to the organisers as thought you put on a wonderful race. Loved the relaxed feel to it, very friendly and just lovely after 4 months of marathon training to let hair down and do some trail running. Marshalls great, liked the medal and goodies at the end.
Will definately ear mark for next year as thoroughly enjoyed.

In short: Well done Brighton - Fab Race
In full: While there were the usual problems at the star t i.e. not enough toilets but I've not been at a race which did not have that issue. The biggest problem was getting from the baggage drop-off to start pen - people with buggies appeared to be everwhere. It's a narrow area and bound to get busy would suggest next year the start area is for runners only would certainly ease the conjestion.
Well done organisers for arranging such great weather, great atmosphere.
Was quite crampt running conditions you had to run at the pace of these around you, and dodge people running too slow makes me think the race is at is limits.
Well done organisers really enjoyed yesterdays race.

In short: Call that a memento - really don't bother......
In full: Fully expect large queues for the toilets and the sports hall to be packed - given the weather. Was really disappointed with the race this year, not the organisers fault that weather had been bad, but totally there fault that they issued for a memento a bag that did not even have Canterbury 10 on it and a cereal bar - where was the medal.
To the people moaning about these wearing headphones - get a life, surely if someone enjoys running to music and it helps them they should be allowed to.
Have done this race the last 5 years, but don't think I'll bother next year - no medal/t-shirt/mug then no entrance fee from me.

In short: Wonderful race and a great way to start x-mas
In full: Everyone really got into the spirit of the event with santa's everywhere + some reindeer, x-mas trees and all sorts of variations of the festive season.
It was definately muddy but was great fun and a race I would do again.
Loved the medal, and the mince pies and mulled wine at the end nice touch.

In short: Great Race
In full: Well done Maidstone. Found it a race of 2 half, 1st was not great- busy roads & impatient drivers, but 2nd half more than made up for it as lovely scenery and quiet roads.
Sweatshop vouchers, medal + always good to get a t-shirt I would actually want to wear out running . Well done Maidstone.

In short: Great race, was good last year and just got better.
In full: Was totally thrown by the lack of queues for the toilets, 10 mins before race you just walked straight in - think it's the first race I've ever done which had enough toilets.

Dame Kelly at the end was fab, course was as I expected hard but manageable lessens learnt from last year go gently up the hills and pace yourself.

Only think which really annoyed me was being told at the start no earphones. The course was a course where you could wear them safely (we are adults and can have them on low or just one ear in to hear marshall instructions) but to say you will be disqualified if you wore them left a very bad taste in my mouth. Race organsisers need to remember not all of us are fast whippets and some of us find running with music really helps.

In short: Thank you Wadhurst another great race.
In full: Conditions certainly made things challenging, sunny, raining, muddy it had it all. What it certainly had was brilliant pre-race information loved the males from the Race Director advising of the conditions very helpful.
A huge thank you to all the marshalls on the course, so encouraging, always a smile and lots of water, sponges and always a bonus to have jelly babies these were well needed yesterday. A special thanks to the mile 12 orange station - neither realised a slice of orange could taste so good - thank you.
Goodie bag lived up to hype, whoever made the chocolate brownies at the end - they were to die for.

In short: Well done, fab race - it can rival the big boys.
In full: What a brilliant day - even the weather was looking out for us. The marshalls were supportive, loved the number of water stops you turned a corner and there was another one. The park and ride was brilliant top marks for that. Course very pretty even the loops worked to an advantage as had so many club mates running whenever you did a loop we all saw each other and provided on route encouragement.
My supporters loved the course as easy to see the runners (unlike London where crowds so big you can easily miss people).
What I loved about this race was that while it's big, it's not so big you get lost - it's part of it's charm gets a thumbs up from supporters and from a runners point of view you can run at your pace.
Only downside were difficulties with getting race numbers, I did not have a problem but had friends who did. Plus the gantry near the finish made it unclear where the finish was, ran towards it thinking that was the finish then realised had to keep going.
Hats of to organisers as considering only 3rd year events been run thought brilliant and one of my favourite marathons.
