In short: Brilliant 10k race - faultless and outstanding organisation
In full: I have ran this race a few times now and it is well worth the trip from Manchester. It is just the right size - not overcrowded and there is plenty of space ( especially after half way on the way back along the prom!!) A credit to penny lane striders. Back next year

In short: Excellent 10k - The organisation and support from all the marshalls is brilliant -Top event
In full: Run Liverpool events are really enjoyable. This 10k is great. I can't reccommend it highly enough. It is an event for all abilities and the support from the marshalls and crowd was very heartwarming. Having run the Liverpool Half and other races in liverpool i now make it an annual event to travel from Manchester to take part. It is so enjoyable. Will be back next year. Superb.

In short: Adorable - I can genuinely say from 20 plus years running this is a top event
In full: This will be a permanent fixture on my calender. It is a great work out and everyone is so friendly and supportive ( fellow runners and so supportive spectators). The last 4 miles into the strong headwind did not put me off from entering every year in the future. Well done Alan and Yvonne Rothwell for doing such a great job. Thanks so much.

In short: Very good workout. Fast paced and nice rural roads. Great race to start the year
In full: Great workout. Fast paced race and the hill at 4.5 miles is well placed as you know there is only a mile and a half to go and that is flat. Would be better if there were changing facilities but would still recommend this race to anyone

In short: one of the best races in the north. Excellent end of year workout
In full: This is the best 10 miler you could do. Whilst it is not flat ( the 2 testing hills put you in the discomfort zone)it is a very fair course with sufficient ups and downs throughout. It seems to attract a wide range of abilities but the marshalls treat everyone the same. They make you feel so welcome and provide great encouragement. I bet even novice or first timers would find it hard not to return to do this race year after year. Well done Stockport Harriers. Great job.

In short: New course will make this a very popular event - the best half marathon i've done for years
In full: Brilliant race. Everyone is so friendly. Everybody helps each other when the going gets tough but the race went so smooth. The lovely weather meant that you had one less aspect to worry about. The stretch along the prom was very senic and flat. All in all it was great and i will aim to do this every year. Thanks to the organiers. Great job!

In short: Very fair course for a hilly city - great stadium start and finish
In full: I have ran this race about 4 times now. I love sheffield as i did a degree at Sheffield Hallam a while back. I almost had to pull out at 4 miles due to a calf strain but I mananged to hang on (there was no way i would pull out as i wanted to finish for My Mum who died last Nov.) The race and the support on Eccy Road make you mentally strong. I have not had an injury for years but the support and warmth of the people of Sheffield can get you through anything. I hung on to finish in 1:57. I will always do this great race.
