In short: Mud, wind and rain - just getting to the start
In full: Excellent race as usual, muddier than I ever remember. Excellent marshalls and support even with the weather. Only suggestion for improvement is a second water station - 12 miles with only one is unusaul

In short: Excellent race

In short: Good post Xmas blow out
In full: Great scenery with some good hills. Worked out it would be mostly concrete / tarmac, which could be a bit clearer on the instructions. Overall one you should do at least once

In short: A must do race
In full: Stunning scenery, excellent organisation and some unique running surfaces. This should be on everyones list of must do races - yes it was windy, yes there was an 800 metre river channel to wade through, but no hills no cars on the course and the sand was firm throughout. Started with the best ever pre-race briefing I have heard in any race.

In short: An easy canter through the stables of Lambourn
In full: Low key event, but well organised, with "most" miles marked, excellent marshalls and no real hills. A few too many twists and turns for a PB, but a great way to spend a morning

In short: A race with views
In full: A must do event. Unique race headquarters, excellent scenery, well marked and marshalled route. In the slippery conditions as challenging as ever, with those hills coming just when you don't want them.
