In short: What an awesome experience. In full: I loved this event. The feeling near the end of the race, running through the tunnel to the music from Chariots of Fire with the Mo Farah Olympic commentary playing and then emerging into the Olympic statdium for the last few hundred metres of the race is something I will never forget. It was electrifying and wonderful and well done and big thanks to the organisers. Date of review: July 19, 2015
In short: Lovely flat 10K in the beautiful winter sunshine In full: This race starts and finishes at Craven Cottage, easily the prettiest and probably the friendliest football club in London and is mainly Thames tow path and London residential streets. It was flat, fun and very enjoyable and even though I was probably one of the last to finish (10 min miles), I got such a cheer when I crossed the finish line, I've been walking on air ever since. Would definitely do it again and what a great cause (Prostate Cancer). By the way, there were only a couple of hundred runners and one of them was Jo Pavey! Date of review: February 10, 2015
In short: The hills get steeper every year. In full: I have run this race every year for the past few years and I just love it. My only tiny gripe is that there seem to be increasingly fewer old joggers like me in relation to the speedy club runners. It used to be full of Santa hats and elves but not any more. Makes me feel a tiny bit dispirited about my slow speed. Date of review: December 8, 2014
In short: Great fun as usual and special thanks to the cheery friendly marshalls. In full: I really love this race, but it was a shame that there was no water by 10 o'clock when us slowies reached the top of the hill. Also thanks for the mug, but I would have preferred a medal especially as it was the 50th Hogs Back.
Notwithstanding all that, I really enjoyed myself and thanks again for the wonderful organisation and friendly, encouraging marshalling. Happy Christmas! Date of review: December 23, 2009
In full: A great fun run. Extremely well organised, with a proper organised warm up/work out at the start. Plenty of water from start to finish. The marshalls were really smiley, friendly and encouraging all the way round. Great stuff. Date of review: April 25, 2009
