In short: Excellent 'low key' half marathon
In full: Big thanks to everyone involved. Fantastic day. Location, facilities, marshalls spot on. No better half marathon route in the UK.

In short: Must do!
In full: Big thanks to organisers, other runners and spectators for making this a special day.Brilliant race. Conditions underfoot treacherous in places. (Thats not a complaint). I had to be pulled out of a bog by a fellow runner or I would still be there. Loved the variation in terrain and the 35 miles seemed to fly by. Well done to the organisers.

In short: Best race of the year?
In full: Not even a typical Lake District downpour lasting several hours could spoil this race.

In short: A must do race
In full: I hope the organisers think carefully before deciding to move this race from late June. An earlier start would be a better option.
I do not fancy crossing the bridge in cold, wet conditions.Under the circumstances I think the organisation was first class.

In short: Brilliant!
In full: Excellent organisation and very friendly marshalls. Support of locals superb and a great help. The atmosphere at the end made the day. Dont move this from June - the weather makes this event. One small thing but it would cost - any chance of bottled water and not cups?
