In short: Best fun ever
In full: Firstly, a big no huge thank you to the marshals.
Great course, liked the ZigZag element. Hats off to the guy who ran in bare feet. Great mug (no doubt will cause more comments in the kitchen at work!) and top.
Will be back for more next year - Well done Rob and co

In short: Best Ever
In full: Many thanks to Dr Rob and the great bunch of marshals.
I like the new format and the great goodies - a new mug to take into work (will sit along side the other from 2009 that was always a talking point at the kettle!). This race gets better and better, shame my fitness doesn't but hey ho!
Happy New Year everyone! :)

In short: Great views and variety
In full: A well organised event (many thanks Mr Frost). Cheerful and helpful marshals making the run really enjoyable. A good test and I look forward to having another go next year.

In short: As advertised - a slog in Surrey! :)
In full: This is a well organised event. The route is clearly marked and well populated with water stations manned by some really cheerful and sportive helpers (many thanks).
This event has been compared to the Mid Summer Munro however I don't think that is the correct comparison. Yes, lots of hills but at least you can run all the way round the slog! I think it compares to an elongated G-3 – nothing wrong with that (just it is different to the Munro). As an indication of the Slog and Munro differences I was 15% over my road ½ for the slog and 28% over for the Munro.
A good event.

In short: Tough but Soooo Rewarding
In full: Dr Rob has produced another fantastic race, so rewarding and a great runner's race; competition but friendliness that sit equally alongside each other. The boot bag, polo shirt are useful (and great reminders of that June day!). The medal is a bit heavy round the neck though!!! :)
Can't wait for next year! A must for all to try once....

In short: A race with every aspect - atmosphere, challenge & reward
In full: Superb organisation, very helpful crew and great marshalling. Plenty of encouragement from the marshals on a course were you need every bit of support to see you round allegedly Britain’s hardest 1/2 marathon. The course challenges you without respite. This is not a hilly course this is the finest challenge that Box Hill offers. Dr Rob has created one of the best races I have competed in. Despite the pain I’ll be back…
The atmosphere is excellent and I found a friendly bunch. It was hotter than last year to give added dimension to the challenge.
The goody back the best around and now we have a sneak preview into Dr Rob’s DJ skills – good album (must be because we are of similar ages!).
Looking forward to returning next year, already! Not for the faint hearted.

In short: Something for everyone wishing for a challenge
In full: For an off road route that has been well planned and presents some good challenges (downhill as well as up) this is a great race. For a first race the organisers has got the knack! Dr Rob has lent his terrific experience to make it a must for next year’s calendar.
This was a friendly race for a very good cause. So now we wait for the Munro!
