In short: great scenery- you get to see the steepest bit 3 times! In full: nice location, but this course has some seriously hilly elements, including 3 x the hill in the middle of town, and is absolutely not one for a PB! Decent marshalling and stuff, though some signage to help you find the start would be nice. (Entirely outside their control was the muppet who lit a bonfire which smoked the course for a bit of the third lap). Date of review: September 2, 2007

In short: it's all been said before In full: can't help feeling that the profit motive is a factor here. get as many people as possible in the space available... this is fine as a charity event, but it is simply not a race- a training run, maybe. are the organisers actually runners, I wonder? (water supplies round the course were good) Date of review: July 2, 2007
