In short: The only race worth running on New Year's day. In full: Four hills in one killer race. From the grind up Burfott to the murderous Mole Steps to the final ankle breaking sprint to the finish this race has it all. Also, superbly organised and very friendly. Thanks again Dr Rob! In short: Four steep hills in one, even steeper downhills, lots of mud, lots of fun - New Year's Day doesn't get better than this! In full: Well organised - liked the staggered starts so that most finished around the same time - so great finish line atmosphere - lots of New Year highs at the end. Pricey but fine - given the contribution to charity... The hills were tough - but the steps were hell! The final downhill sprint to the finish - utterly mad. Great race, great fun. See you next year. In short: Really enjoyable, hilly, muddy run through that part of Surrey that people don't see too much of. Some good hills and a friendly run. Date of review: February 20, 2006
