In short: Great atmosphere as ever. Start line organisation this year worked really well. The course seemed a little over 10k and some of the 1km signs were way out. Cost is getting a bit steep for a 10k though. But I'll be back! Date of review: April 21, 2008

In short: Sign me up for next year In full: This was my first half marathon having done a few 10ks before. The organisation was superb; there was plenty of information on the website (including the elevation profile which was enough to fill me with dread) and the race organisation on the day was the best I think I've encountered.
The hills are challenging it has to be said, but the scenery and general banter with other people takes your mind of it. Having gone through the 1:50+ training schedule on the runners world website, I managed just under 1:48 which I'm delighted with. Date of review: December 11, 2006
