In short: Well worth doing ... In full: Whole organisation was great. Great facilities, plenty of toilets etc. Good range to run through: Park - residential - town centre. Start was on a field with loads of space, and the marshalling all round the course was spot on. The finish was back at the sports field with a goodie bag and a much better quality T-shirt than last year. Beginner friendly. Will be back next year….

In short: Good route but bad organisation In full: 10 toilets at start for 7500 runners, you must be kidding. Didnt see mile markers at all. Lack of water stations. Lack of tape so spectators in road just after start. End of race was complete disaster with runners trying to get out the castle and people meeting them trying to get in one entrance. It was much better finishing in the Millenium Stadium last year. Organisers ought to see how other cities organise their half marathons like Robin Hood in Nottingham Date of review: October 18, 2007
