In short: My third time at this half marathon and have loved it every time!
In full: This a great run- a short climb up to the dam, flat all the way around the very scenic lake and downhill to the finish. Perfect. Excellent organisation, everyone very friendly, a great medal and t shirt, hot shower and a picnic on the grass. What a wonderful day!

In short: This is the most scenic half marathon I have ever done and I loved it!!
In full: The run up the Orme was amazing and a real challenge.I enjoyed the race and thought everything went very smoothly. There was a long wait though at the end for medals and water, I waited 20 minutes and was freezing! I'm sure the organisers will realise there was a problem there and have more people on it next year. But what a great day!!

In short: Second Year of doing this run and the course was much improved. Wonderful scenery and a good atmosphere. Liked the goody bag - where to pick them up could be made clearer . Water stations a bit short so congested. Fab run though- will be back! .

In short: Should have been more water! I saw poeple picking up half empty bottles from the roadside and asking spectators for water. Not good. More water should have been provided. The hot weather was well forcasted

In short: A great run!
In full: A new course this year and it was lovely running around and through Sefton Park but the start was very narrow and crowded and at times on the course it was narrow and congested. A great run though and the organisation as always was spot on. Loads of loos this year too!!

In short: What an amazing experience!
In full: Still can't believe I've done it! Realised early on I wasn't going to beat my PB with the heat and the crowds so just concentrated on getting round and enjoying it. Hard work but worth every step for that last mile...... the support was indcredible and it was a dream come true crossing the famous finishing line!
