In short: the drums, the drums, the drums, oh and a brilliant race!
In full: My local marathon and what an amazing race. For me it was perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. Big thanks to the organisers, the volunteers, the supporters and all the runners who combined to make this a truly memorable day. A must-do marathon. Oh, and the Batala drum band were inspirational!

In short: Glorious mud and steep hills!
In full: 3rd time and the toughest yet. great route through Delamere. Loved it, can't wait for next year. Minor gripes - could do with showers/changing area, and ran out of small t-shirts.

In short: good training run.
In full: Had no problems finding the venue. well done to all the marshals and volunteers in the torrential downpour. Could have done with a hot drink at the end, likewise for friends who came with me. Good value nevertheless.

In short: Some tough hills, but great race
In full: Hot and hilly. Liked the idea of different medals. Be back next year for the Gold. Missed out this year by less than a minute, but did stop for an ambulance! Fab crowd support, good organisation.

In short: Fab course, great scenery, excellent organisation.
In full: A big thank you to all the marshalls and volunteers, you did an excellent job. Loved the route. The support of the locals was fantastic. Had a fabulous race with my running partner, Jane. I'll definitely be back.
A lovely course winding through countryside and chocolate-box villages. I like the greenway - 6 species of warbler, corn bunting and my first swifts of the year - and its as flat as a pancake. Overall it was a fantastic day.

In short: running has never been so much fun
In full: A fabulous blend of mud and hills. Not a run for PB's but one to do with friends and just enjoy the challenge. Don't think I ever want to run on tarmac or pavements again.
