In short: Terrific race, needed more marshalls and water though
In full: The run itself, although extrememly hilly and challenging was terrific fun - fantastic experience.

Just a couple of quite important safety things tho ... , another water station would have been good, one water station in a race that length really wasn't enough. Was totally gasping and dehydrated by the end.

Unfortunately, although promised, there was NO water left at the end of the race - NONE - and there were loads more runners still behind me who would have gone without water too. I had to queue for 10 minutes to buy a bottle from the burger van I was so desparate for drink.

There weren't nearly enough marshalls, given the fact that there was alot of potential for injury on a course like this. I myself had an asthma attack and needed to find a marshall for help quick but there was no one until 5 miles at the water station - half way through the race, where the ambulance crew offered me oxygen.

Would have been nice to get a medal for all our efforts, given that the sponsors were quite high profile companies I'm sure they could have stretched that far.

Sorry to moan, I actually loved the race itself but these are quite important safety issues(apart from the medal:-)) that I hope can be sorted for next year.
