In short: Fast and friendly! In full: A fast out and back flat course. The elite race starting 45 minutes before 'the masses' was inspiring but there was brilliant motivating spirit amongst the other runners too. A lovely atmosphere and a great mix of abilities - very welcoming. Date of review: January 24, 2011

In short: Fun, organised and a challenge too! In full: Did this race this morning. A big thank you to the marshalls, organisers and locals who cheered all the way round this brilliantly organised event. A few challenging hills but made well worth it by the very generous goody bag, the infamous t-shirt with entrant's names printed on the back and the funny guy on the microphone at the finish line! A brilliant atmosphere - I'll be back again! Date of review: September 12, 2010

In short: Well done Muller! In full: A lovely sunny day (but hot!) which added to the excellent atmosphere, organisation and all-round brilliant-ness of this run. Generous goody bag (and a lovely sports bag it is too!), 12 (count em!) fruit corner yoghurts and a brilliant technical t-shirt. Plenty of entertainment and things to do for waiting family and friends too. So well organised - absolutely brilliant Muller! Thank you! Date of review: May 9, 2010

In short: 'Undulating'???!!!! Try mountainous! Not the jog round a country park I'd imagined! In full: OK so I might be exaggerating slightly but it was SO tough! Relentless is a good word! So is cruel - for the final climb off to the right when you can see the finish line downhill to your left and that's where you're assuming you're heading and also that swampy field at 8 1/2km to almost finish you off!
Having said that, the bluebells were gorgeous!
... and there was a lovely atmosphere and it was lovely to watch the dog runners come in and it was well marked out (just as well as the marshalls were either chatting to each other or sunbathing!)
It was a challenge and I lived to type this! I've got blisters and aches but I really enjoyed it! I'll be back next next year - but at least I know what to expect! Date of review: May 1, 2010

In short: Friendly and fun In full: 3 laps of a park on mainly trail paths. Well organised, excellent support and very encouraging marshalls. I only wish I'd learnt about this series earlier and so could have got the required 4 races in to achieve a memento (!) - and to monitor my times over the same course. Very nice atmosphere - thanks to all concerned. Date of review: April 11, 2010

In short: Fast and windy! In full: Totally agree with Damien - A good race - 2 laps of rural lanes and roads and well organised generally - apart from the end! It's unfair to criticise too much and it was an opportunity to get your breath back (!) but it took ages to get through the finishing funnels to get your medal.
Overall though I enjoyed the race and it is generally flat and so I ran the fastest I ever have! Not all bad then! Date of review: March 14, 2010
