In short: If it wasn't for the wind ......
In full: OK - I guess you DO have to expect some wind on an airfield, but it's a shame it was quite so strong! BUT - still managed a PB of under 45 mins - wonder what it would have been without the wind (AND with some training!). All in all a good race. Good fun, excellent support (thanks to all the WAGS !!). Stayed on to watch friends oin the Duathlon - nutters !!!

In short: Great Run !!
In full: Excellent facilities - what a place !! The runb was good, nice and flat, if abit windy. The organoisation was not as promised, buyt for afirst-time event it was absolutely fine. As for the venue - stunning. Great cafe, nice and warm and roomy inside - some excellent old and new cars to see, as well as a good range of attractions, etc - fun for all the family. No excuses (such a s a10k race) needed to go along to Mercedes-Benz World for the day !!
