In short: Great preparation for a sping marathon or as a race on its own
In full: 4 laps not exactly inspiring but good for pacing yourself and you know whats coming. nice medal and t shirt and some great marshals especially lady on the brigde and the lady half way down the big hill after 4 mile marker, although im still waiting for the tea she promised.
great tea and grub in the clubhouse after as well, lovely cakes, well done ladies!

In short: Good race, well organised and pb potential
In full: Got my number through the waiting list which is a great system, more races should do that. the race was great, a few challenging hills but levels out nicely for a fast finish and negative split. conditions were good for november, mild and damp but nothing too wet with a bit of a wind on the more exposed parts but better than previous years by all accounts

In short: Great race, well organised but tough in the heat
In full: This a good marathon to do, well organised and good local support along the route. Great support at the water stations when I was really struggling at the end. Thanks to the little girl who gave me an cola icepop around 15 miles. Really not a pb course on a day like yesterday.
Just a little feedback to HRR, don't think there were 5K markers, RW page says there are, not that it mattered to me.

In short: good challenging half to prepare you for a spring marathon
In full: I liked this run, conditions were great apart from some windy bits. Definitely undulating but manageable.
Its also local to me and good value so would do it again

In short: Good end of the year run with pb potential
In full: I like this race and once you get over the hills and use the downhills its not so bad. Well done to the marshals in very trying conditions. Again a hot drink at the end would be most welcome. Queueing for half an hour to buy tea just wasn't worth it.

In short: Good race, definitely a challenge, great for marathon training
In full: Well organised small and friendly event. Quite easy to get lost on the course but I removed the need to struggle with maps and directions by sticking close to some dunstable runners.
Very dry underfoot in places and one tricky stretch of some testing loose flint to negotiate
Overall a good event and the tea and grub at the finish was well appreciated.

In short: Great day out , runs for all the family on a flat course
In full: Thought I might suffer with the heat and late start but it was well shaded and even windy in parts to cool you down. The course is fast with definite pb potential. Just waiting for results now

In short: Good race, well organised, but could do with a hot drink
In full: Got up late, delayed on the motorway, started about 10:05 after locking myself out of my car (Doh!!!). So wasn't expecting much, but good run and good conditions for December.
Thanks to the announcer who helped me out, the guy who lent me his phone and £2 for tea and a snack ( after queueing for 20mins or more) and the StJohns guy who gave me a blanket, eventually.

Still enjoyed the run and will be back if you can provide a HOT drink at the end. Tea, hot juice, hot ribena, mulled wine, hot whiskey, ok maybe not but anything even hot water
