In full: Beautiful scenery almost makes you forget what you're doing. Great marshalling and support throughout. A must!!

In short: A great race if the weather is favourable
In full: Very warm, not much wind. A good run for a novices and beginners to post a respectable time. All-in-all a nice 2-lap race up and down the coast, well marshalled and plenty of water stops. Not many toilets though.

In short: my third marathon, so don't have too much experience but loved every minute of the 4 1/2 hours it took me!!

In short: As a relative novice to fell/trail runs and marathons alike i feel drawn to this event every year
In full: This year is the second time in successive years that i have run this race and only my second ever marathon! It is the most challenging event i have ever entered and definitely the most enjoyable. I introduced two of my friends to the Yorkshireman this year and they too fell in love with it. With a mixture of beautiful scenery, unpredictable weather and under foot conditions this is an event not to be missed by anybody who feels up to the challenge.
