In short: A very friendly, well organised race
In full: Thank you so much to the organisers and all the marshalls who did such a fab job on sunday. I was expecting less marshalls and perhaps a few little holes in organisation compared to bigger events but I was so wrong. I think it's the best marshalled race I've ever done. I would definately recommend it. The scenery is beautiful in places, mostly lovely, although the industrial bit is a bit dull but there was a great little crowd there to cheer us on. If it's your first marathon and you're a nervous runner or you need cheering crowds lining the course to get you round then this probably isn't the one for you. Otherwise go for it! Thank you to everyone once again for making it such a great day.

In short: Friendly race in lovely scenery
In full: Well organised and marshaled. Quite a small field so great if you don't like pressure. Lovely route, what sunday runs should be.

In short: Very friendly, welcoming race, good for training.
In full: Very friendly, relatively small field. Really good course for training, quite up-hill going out and down-hill on the way back. I'd like to do all three next year.

In short: Great start to the year, great organisation, encouraging marchalls, fab momentos
In full: Really enjoyable race, undulating course, one to take as seriously as you fell like with or without a hang-over. Well organised, friendly marshalls. Really useful and different from usual mementos. I'd definitely recommend this one.
