In short: I enjoy this one every year. Great atmosphere.
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed the race although happy to see the finish line. I got great pleasure in assisting a young lady competitor to a PB. Saddened to see that the winner, in 'chip time' terms in my age category (M60+)only came third by the gun and presumably didn't win a prize. Is the reason for the non-production of chip times immediately after the race to guard against the possibilty of this, potentially embarrassing scenario or is it standard procedure? I am not a club runner and am not, therefore, familiar with the protocol.

In short: My favourite race
In full: Well done marshals on all counts. Brilliant race this. Drinks stations well positioned. Although strength sapping and finish line a welcome sight I always get a buzz at the end, and this year a PB for NF10. It must be an optical elusion, but I find that the gentle downhill sections seem longer and occur more frequently than the modest uphill challenges.

In short: OK - Hope for better next year
In full: 5th time I've done this one, so I must enjoy it. Start a little confusing and lost chance of a reasonable race time by being pushed back at start of race and losing position of choice. Bottleneck for first couple of hundred yards didn,t aid recovery. Have now collected a full drawer full of towels from this one and would appreciate something different next year. Will be back.

In short: A 'must do' race
In full: Enjoyed this one yet again despite being 3 minutes slower than last year. The marshals were great. Full of encouragement. The extra drinks station at 10 miles was a pleasant surprise. I assume this was taking the theme of '10' a bit further. I certainly will be back next year.

In short: Ok, but slightly disappointing this year
In full: My fourth 'Run in the Park'. Enjoyed the race and would do it again as it's fairly local. Can empathise with comments re memento. I picked up another towel(got 1 last year or year before) but would have left it if I'd known of shortage. Was also handed a mug. On return home, found it related to 2003 running and consequntly of no value to me at all. Seemed a way of cutting down on costs by getting rid of old stock. Disappointing!

In short: A must for the callendar
In full: Left it until late but entry accepted. Good quality field from all over the south. Flat and fast course with only one modest incline.Plenty of cake, bananas and liquid refreshment available after race. Great race for beginners. Shaved a massive 1 second off last year's time.

In short: Tougher than anticipated but still very enjoyable.
In full: Most enjoyable race mainly along country lanes. Perhaps a little too much of a challenge for a PB.Definitely begginer friendly and highly recommended for this purpose. Participants were largely unaffiliated runners and consequently new runners might feel slightly less intimidated.

In short: Gets better every time.
In full: 3rd visit for me and noticing more of the scenery each year. Getting used to this great course and building familiarity with the (modest) undulations. Marshals were excellent throughout. Was impressed with smooth distribution of race package on day. Will definitely be back next year.

In short: Great scenery- great run
In full: My first time at this one. Marshals and supporters around course (and there were many) were brilliant. Flatter course than I anticipated and probably the best scenery I,ve experienced whilst racing.I reckon the course commentator will have his name in the Guinness BoR for the number of times he screamed "Give them some encouragement". But despite him I will definitely be back next year.
