In short: Glorious surroundings make you forget the painful hills!
In full: A fabulous event, made even better by the route through Blenheim's parklands. A hilly course but with the joy of a lovely downhill section between 6k and 7.5k. Very well organised and great to be kept informed from a loud speaker that could be hear by all! A few more loos would have been nice though! Not a PB for me, a challenging route!

In short: Flat and friendly......
In full: A delightful flat course, but with a few tight bends, made more challenging when the fast leaders are on their way back along the towpath and coming straight at you....
A classic 10k, no problem parking, enthusiatic marshalls, thankyou and a medal and banana to finish.....all good.....see you next year.

In short: Charming 'city' race-flat & fast!
In full: A good event, well-marshalled and the support around the course was excellent. The underpass congestion stopped me in my tracks but that may have been a good thing,as I was going off too fast anyway! A definite date for my diary for next year-well done PP

In short: The sun shines, at last, on the Thames :-)
In full: At last the sun shines, but it made this beautiful course a challenge in the unaccustomed heat! Cheerfully marshalled and very well organised, a pleasurable way to celebrate my birthday!...... thank you Purple Patch, I'll be back.

In short: Great marshalls, gooey mud, great finish- more please!
In full: Thank you Lordshill for a great race event. The marshalls were plentiful and in such good spirits. Yes, there was mud and a flooded road but the route is interesting, you're surrounded by busy motorways and dual carriage-ways but you never see them, just quiet tracks and lanes....lots of pubs to pass too! A nice finish, slightly downhill onto grass and with fruit and a lovely glass momento to take home the whole morning was brill - more please for years to come!

In short: Hot and hilly-what a challenge!
In full: Thank you Kintbury for a great event, well organised and friendly. The 1st mile and half is basically up and more up but the downhill bits were glorious, through some impressive countryside. The heat made this race even more of a challenge but the pint of ice cold coke in the local pub after made up for that!

In short: Well done Newbury, another great race!
In full: An interesting mixture of road, lush grass, gravel, country tracks.....all with the final finish into the Market Place, with a fab atmosphere. My 5th run here and it never disappoints. Cheerfully marshalled, thankyou.

In short: Well organised, flat-ish, fast race-well done RRR!
In full: This was my 3rd time at Shinfield and my 1st time over the changed course. I much prefer this course now, scenic and with no scary climbs. Well organised and cheerfully marshalled, thanks to all involved in such cold, damp conditions.Mugs? Medals? I'm just glad to finish!

In short: Great race, very well organised.
In full: My first visit to Bramley and it was a great experience. A bit hillier than I expected but I managed my fastest 10mile time in the last 4 years. The organisation was excellent and the course was well-marshalled by a friendly, supportive bunch of heroic folks on such a cold morning, thank you! A fab goody bag and medal finished off a great morning. Be back next year.....

In short: Blows the Boxing Day cobwebs away!
In full: Another year for me at Poole and for once, dry, not frozen, no hail or pouring rain! and I ran the fastest 10k for me since early 2009!
A special race held on Boxing Day.....can be a bit soul-destroying as it's 4 laps but well worth it for the bottle of plonko at the end.
What was up with the pedestrian at the train station though? the marshal there was getting verbally abused and it was beginning to look really nasty? A big thank you to the organisers and marshals for giving up their Xmas.
