In short: Nice tough, challenging course.
In full: Well organised as always with excellent, friendly marshalling, bar the one lady about 7m (I think) who wasn't paying attention and had to be shouted at to give directions (and, as it turned out was partially blocking the route).

In short: Same as always, good race with some organisational problems.
In full: This race is great vfm and a good hard workout, however, with some attention to detail it could be even better.
1) More toilets need to be organised - get some portaloos in (quite a few).
2) Lining up for the start is haphazard - pens are not necessary, but a few stakes in the ground with predicted times on would be a start.
3) Several of the 10k runners were sent the wrong way and I believe the banner wasn't raised over the finishing line as the winner crossed (had to be held up).
4) Given that the race was chipped the announcement of the results was particularly abysmal. It should be quite straightforward to see who has won what. A bit more haste in the rain would have been appreciated.

Having said all that though I will definitely be back.

In short: Poorly organised and long!
In full: A lot of the marshals didn't seem to have a clue where anything was pre-race and as a result of the signage on the bridge, I, along with about 20 other runners ended up by the grandstand looking for the baggage area and therefore had to come back around through the tunnel and lost any chance of a warm-up.
Trouble getting into position at the start due to the crowds and only one entry point.

Course was 1% long (a lot of people got it long by the same amount). I hate that new rule for measuring courses. Just get them exactly right and stop faffing about.

In short: Very tough course.
In full: Some of the pre-race organisation left a little to be desired - directions to both the parking areas, and to the start for example. Friendly atmosphere though. Definitely a slow course with some monster hills, but rewarding as only a hilly course can be.

In short: Great fun!
In full: Well organised. The 1 or 2 lap format made for a good atmosphere. Great marshalling.

In short: Rubbish course (though good marshals).
In full: As has already been said, the course was both rubbish and uninspiring. Numerous switchbacks, sections on (poorly maintained) paths, etc, and then when you finally got to run a bit on the road in the last couple of miles the camber was atrocious and you could only run on the edge of the road because of traffic....
I'm afraid I won't be back. First and last time.

In short: A well organised race, with a much improved course.
In full: The new route avoids the traffic problems of last year. Well organised with great support especially considering how much of it is through the actual forest.

In short: Well organised, though it's a shame that the course was measured (very) long.
In full: This rating is for the Pewsey Vale HM, not the Terminator (which is where all the ratings seem to be ending up?).

Challenging course, but there are tougher around. Generally well organised, with friendly marshals, though the attitude of the St John's Ambulance guys left a bit to be desired (my wife asked them where the start-line was and was told that it's where everybody starts from!! Numpties!!!).

My only big gripe was that the course measured as very long (by 0.15miles). I ran the course on the shortest possible line so I cannot understand this. Additionally, I am aware of a number of others who got the course even slightly longer! It would be nice if a defined start line could be made for next year as it was just a case of 'line up around there'...........

Enjoyable though.

In short: 2008 - not 2007 as stated. Excellent organisation.
In full: Only slight fault is the start/finish area. Too tight, and those stones are too deep and can cause problems, particularly on the way back (though last year's bog was just as bad), so a rethink is probably required.
