In short: A great race, well-organised and definite PB potential
In full: Very hot and personally had a nightmare run but it was very well organised. The standard of runners was very high butit felt very clubby and serious. The start was also difficult as there were a lot of people. Will definitely do it again and great goodie bag!

In short: A great race with a great atmosphere. Fantastic PB potential
In full: A great race that provides great PB potential although the wind off the reservoir at 7k-8k was a bit testing on tired legs. The atmosphere was great, really supportive and friendly. My only complaint would be that there is no chipping. I had a different time to that recorded. In accordance with the official results on the website I also came third but did not get the third place prize..not sure what happened there!! Overall though, really good and will be doing it again

In short: A challenging hill race but where were the 8k and 9k markers?? Not helpful when planning thee final push!
In full: This race seemed a bit more clubby this year and certainly more hilly but maybe that was to do with the hot weather which also meant even less opportunity for a PB. The missing kilometre markers were annoying as in the final stretch of the race you had no idea how far it was to go and when to kick for home.

In short: Challenging race but organisation needs to be better
In full: I ran this last year and was really disappointed that they did not even manage to record the fact I ran, nevermind my time which was a respectable 50 mins so its not as if they had all gone home by the time I had finished. So I was pleased to see that they were using a chip system this year but confused again by the chaotic start. Got boxed in by all the runners in a few places too. Have now looked at the results on the web and they have me down in the under 10yrs category??? I guess I should be grateful that they have my time at all but please can you get it right!!

Course was good and challenging. The steeple chase like flooding made it interesting! And the hill on Rousebarn Lane is a total challenge in itself which this year did not defeat me.

In short: My first 10K. The start needs to be improved and boy are some of the hills a killer but overall a challenging run.
In full: A good course, quite hilly and the last steep hill on Rousebarn Lane brings all those except the semi-pros to a near standstill. After that it is hard to sprint finish. The start is disorganised and would benefit from a staggered start with individual chips.
