In short: Could have done without the damp start, and despite my aching limbs was still smiling as I finished!
In full: This was my first London Marathon and like many I felt this was a race of two halves. The first 14-15 miles seemed much faster than I thought they would be, but around Docklands the pace seemed to slow as number of walkers increased. But unstinting public support really helped me through, especialy as my MP3 died at the start line!!! Would I do it again.. more than likely!
