In short: Lovely race - well balanced - user-friendly indeed!
In full: This is a great run, actually having 2 laps is great to guage the 2nd half - take it within your ability on 1st lap and you know where you can belt it more on the 2nd. Friendly non-elitist and great beginner run. Try the 5K at least and see if you like the idea of becoming a 10K runner. If you already do 10K you will get a good time here. There were no queues to park, register, or have a pee and I arrived quite late at 11.15 am.

In short: Outstanding in all respects.
In full: Thoroughly enjoyable run - PLEASE do it again next year. Minor glitches for me were that my sat nav followed the post code to a nearby village (but punched in edwinstowe and soon sorted); there is a bit of a bottleneck at the start and it took a couple of minutes to get going; and we got lucky with the weather so the ground was frozen - it would have been a bit muddy in some parts otherwise. Well organised, super course - no hilly bits, no human or traffic queues either - one of the best - a deffinite 'do it again' run. THANKS.

In short: This one is IN A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN!!!!!
In full: What a fantastic event. The organisation was superb and the event went like clockwork - loads of parking right on the start line, lots of friendly marshalls, a well marked course and plenty of water stations. Make it up the steep hill at the 2nd Km and you're basically down hill almost all the way home! The long section through the bluebell woods (in bloom) accompanied by Bach's cello concerto suite 6 on the ipod was truely spiritual. I LOVED this event. WELL DONE GUYS!!

In short: Make it to the half way stage and you're home and dry.
In full: First half has some sustained gentle inclines, second half is more downhill to home. Every finisher individually announced by the commentator, a lovely touch. This race seems very weather-dependent, I can remember battling the head wind a couple of years ago, while this year it was BAKING and no shade to be had along the way. A very friendly and well-organised race.

In short: Great morning out! Friendly and well organised.
In full: The finish was cruel, it was not clear you had to do the last hairpin, going past the finish and doubling back again, wasted time trying to work it out. BUT now I know and would ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY do it again next year.
