In short: Scenic, friendly, off-road, challenging 10K trot
In full: A lovely course, winding its way across land owned by the local disabled riding school. A very open feel to the race - no bottlenecks. Mostly grass with 2 small stretches of quiet road (no cars in sight on the day). Friendly marshalls and a great start and finish venue where you could warm up in the indoor riding area + soup and rolls for £1 at the end.

In full: Some long, boring, soul-destroying bits at the beginning; nice cool run through woods; watch out for roots and rocks along the way, especially on the hills. For some reason I felt uninspired and probably won't do this race again.
Was actually 6.6 miles, not 6 as advertised.

In short: Where did our money go?
In full: I ran this race 3 years ago on the old course and the organisation was very good. This time the organisation was chaotic, the first water stop wasn't soon enough and I'd become dehydrated, there were less facilities than last time and the change of course was not an improvement. Winding through narrower streets should happen at the end, once the field has had a chance to spread out on wider roads. That cranberry squash practical joke in the 'baddy' bag was crap too!!
