In short: A spring classic
In full: If your looking for a great spring half then look no further than this.
A tough hilly course, but through some really nice countryside on really quiet roads.
Organisation is flawless and the feed you get at the end is fantastic.
A propper runners race, organised BY runners FOR runners!

In short: Does exactly what it says on the tin..
In full: This is a fantastic race. A very difficult hilly half, but well worth the effort. Just accept that you will be a wee bit slower, grit your teeth and not only will you get round, but you'll enjoy it.
The organisation can not be praised enough. The marshalls are all incredibly cheery and encouraging, the route is beautiful and the spread laid on at the finish is without a doubt the best I have ever seen at a race. Those who didn't hang about for the prize giving may have missed out on some of the most special spot prizes I have ever seen !!
Please - try it(just don't go there expecting a PB!!)

In short: Excellent race.
In full: A great race. Excellent organisation (well done to Lasswade AC) and a really good spread of cakes and goodies at the end.
Clubs can only work with what they've got and Lasswade just happen to have a lot of hills!
Not an easy race to pace your split times - but there are a couple of really fast downhill stretches where you can claw some time back.

In short: Well done East Lothian.
In full: There has been so much coverage of the Edinburgh Marathon. But lets be honest - most of it is in East Lothian - so well done to East Lothian council for helping out with the organisation!

In short: TAXING
In full: Nice route, as long as you don't mind a couple of hills and a few sharp bends.
Well worth the trip though for a good mid week race. The goodies on offer at the end are welcome too.
Well done to the organisers.

In short: Well done Dumfries
In full: Can't praise Dumfries Running club enough for putting on this event.

My time wasn't what I wanted (my fault) but I still think this is a great course for good times. And if you do slow down a bit there is some great scenery to look at!

In short: Great race!
In full: I really enjoy this race.
I never find the hill at 11 miles as bad as I think I should.
Marshalls all do a great job and the water stations are well placed.
A lot depends on the weather with this race - and this year it didn't disapoint.
