In short: This is how a half marathon should be organised !
In full: Well done to the organisers and helpers !
Excellent course, with only one road croosing made this a very enjoyable, scenic route through the magnificent Forest of Dean.
Car parking worked well with both entrances to the field being used to keep the flow going, would be a great idea to use this plan again as this was not on the original pre-race information ! 10/10

In short: Good race to blow the cobwebs away. Not for the feint hearted.
In full: Quite a surprise that this event took place given the weather conditions the day before. However the sun made an appearance which allowed the temperature to rise to acceptable levels, making an enjoyable race. People should adjust their gear according to the likly conditions underfoot! Road shoes just dont cut it on snow / ice. .

In short: Not for the faint hearted but well worth the effort. This is probably one of the best organised races I know !
In full: Again for a second year the weather changed to make this race a very pleasant experience, the sun made a great difference from the non stop rain the day before.I did the 10k,dont try this in road shoes as the conditions on the route(99%off road)are wet, muddy & steep.Well done to all at Endurancelife will be back next year!

In short: Needs some fine tuning but this event has definate promise.
In full: There is a real need to properly identify the route not rely on markers for another race(s) that happens to share some of thet tracks along the way. Would hve helped if there were distance markers to show the 10K route the other markers were just confusing !

In short: Probably the best 10K Trail race Ive entered ! ( Ive completed quite a few )
In full: I agree with most of the comments so far. So Im not the only one that stopped at the first mat! If it was removed later why was it there in the first place. That said this is the only fault in a well managed event where everyone was so friendly and helpful. Everything seemed to go like clockwork, well done to all concerned.Forget the high ish entry price you get at great deal for your money.

In short: Nice race for all runners, well worth the trip.
In full: I know the event was put on in aid of charity but something other than a empty plastic bag might bring the punters coming back in future years. The course was not adequately distance marked and finish was poorly identified. overall could

In short: good route testing in places
In full: I think its all been said already !
I do agree also that for the price that there should have been a slicker operation organisationally all round. The main issue I would suggest is the standard of hygine for issuing water at 4K.This cannot be acceptable under any circumstances, hope no one gets a tummy upset from it.The start & finish arches were as I understand it were not erected due to the windy conditions.
Shame realy as this should be a much better race :(
