In short: Lovely scenery, only a mile away from home, but the course was definitely longg
In full: I enjoyed this. I knew I was in for a tough race as this is one of my regular off-road training routes and its hilly. But its not always about PBs. Not bad organisation at all to say it wasn't a running club putting on the event. The only comments I'd have would be that the marshalls needed a bit more enthusiasm (some were great - but the lad at the bottom of the field was asleep).
And I wasn't expecting to have to run nearly half a mile further - was a lovely finish, but hurt a bit!
The comment from the guy who lives just down the road but didn't expect it to be quite as hilly made me proper LOL! Why didn't you check it out before? And where do you normally run - its not like Chislehurst is flat:-)

In short: What a wonderful race - yes, its hilly, but I PB'd by 12 minutes, so its definitely not imposssiblee
In full: This was fabulous from beginning to end. No hanging around at the start, a sense of occasion, beautiful scenery, really well-marshalled, friendly, great support. Brilliant. The only thing I'd change would be to have some showers available at the finish, but thats a minor gripe.

In short: They promised it was a PB course, and it definitely was - I took 10 minutes off my previous 10 mile time. Not exactly exciting scenery, but well organised and lovely marshalls.

In short: First time this had been done, but you'd think they'd been organising races for years. Loved it - and fabulous to run down the Mall without having to do FLM!

In short: Muddy, hilly and tough - and 15 miles! But friendly, with beautiful scenery and unlimited cake at the end. What more could you want?
In full: I love this race. I travel up from London every year to see if I can finally get the better of those fells. Still haven't managed it, but I never leave without a smile on my face to go with all the mud on my shoes. I'll be back for more next year!

In short: Super-quick course, excellent organisation, no hold-ups even mid-pack.
In full: Was very pleasantly surprised by this one - I thought it would be a squashed game of dodge the walker, but the start 'wave' system worked brilliantly, there was room to move from the start with people at the same speed, and a great speedy course to boot. I don't normally like big races, but I'll be back for this one.

In short: Lovely scenic course, friendly marshalls and fab weather - and a PB byt 2 mins as well - lovely!
In full: I really enjoyed this one - the route was lovely, wonderfully marshalled by some friendly and encouraging people, not crowded after the first half mile or so, and the slight updulations were more than made up for by some lovely gentle downhills. And I got a PB.
