In short: Great organisation of a very good race
In full: This was my first V10k and I was very impressed on the whole. The start/finish area was well organised, the marshalling and encouragement was spot on despite the really cold temperatures and the race itself was a good one even if, as already mentioned, the km markers were out (especially the last couple).

Around 7km it's a bit tough with a steady incline but overall it's definitely got potential for a PB. I'll be back next year.

In short: Great little race with great organiation
In full: This was my first HH race, and I'll definitely be doing it again next year. Really well organised, the marshalls were excellent and the distance was pretty much spot on.

A nice stretch of running along the river up to Hampton Court, a little bit of accident potential through the wooded area in the last mile after wet weather, and chip timing for accurate results, which apparently will be published within 24 hours.

A good barbecue and changing facilities at the end for those who want to stick around, a generally all round good and friendly race.

In short: A good friendly race, ideal for first timers.
In full: This was my first ever race, and despite the nerves I found the start area to be a very friendly place.

The start was a bit cramped although I'm assured it's an improvement on previous years, and the course is very fast with some nice bits of scenery.

Not much to add as I'm exhausted still, but a very welcoming dive into the world of road racing for me, topped off with a 1:32 run.

Will be back next year for more.
