In full: I missed this last year and was really looking forward to running again this,
I also got a PB! how did that happen,
What agreat sunny day, so spring like cheered me, thanks again to all the frindly marshells for do an outstanding job,

In short: I LOVE THIS RACE!
In full: I have to say that this is by far the best HM i do all year!
You cant compare it to other, i just hope that it dosnt get to big as this is a gem of a course,
This is the 4th time now and i got a PB of 1:34

In short: Good honest half
In full: Well done Henley ! i love this race 4th time now and always look forward to it!
That hill dosnt get any smaller! one + you can run fast down the other time, think i passed about 10 runners on that down hill bit,
This is a great warm up for the Marlow half now that is very very hilly!!

In short: im not for moaning!
In full: What a mash up of a race, no signs for the toilets, I had to use the ones in the swimming pool! no tea or coffee at the start!!!
The start of the race was just a joke, didn't start until some chap turned up with a megaphone, the route was ok..
the finish was a complete joke, what's with the stones talk about a slow down that could stop a run away express train!!!!! and the finish line... only one exit to take was to walk in front of the spectators and then cross over the road again in front of the runners!
Nope don't think I will be doing this one again very little effort went into this, im not having a go at the marshals just the start and finish and toilets need some work on,

In short: BRILL!
In full: This is one of my best halfs! i always look foward to doing this race its a real gem of a course.
The rain only added to the fun on the run itself, i was 5 minutes slower than last year so im blaming the leafs and wet roads on the down hill bits as i was on the brakes the whole time!
Well done again Marlow Striders brill top as well ...

In short: WOWO great medal!
In full: This is my first Bristol half, iv done over 30 in the past, not really my kind of race as to many runners but still a brill race to be in, got held up for the first 3 - 5 miles as so many runners but few thats what these town races are about,
The logistics for this must be a nightmare and fair play for Bristol for pulling this off as well as they did!
My little girl Ella loves the medal its awsome she keeps telling me,
See you again next year Bristol...

In full: This is the second time iv run this race, it just gets better, i knocked 6 minutes of my time and got 1:35 so i was very pleased with that and shocked,

In full: This is the second time i have done this race, the weather was perfect for running a little foggy but fine.
Loved the hill! nearly got run over by a shirehorse as we came through Henley management collage!!!!
Also i got a PB !!! So really made my weekend...wooohoooo

In short: Well great job on the day, strange start but worked out ok, was held back a bit on the first hill should have been closer to the start. boy its a hard race no pb for me on this race.
