In short: A Gem In full: Truely ace race - had every surface bar snow & ice. Set-up was great too, had a huge marquee, food & drink and a high tech sports shop (even had a £5 voucher in the goody bag). What's fab for me is that it's easy to get to and shockingly good value. In short: Suprisingly badly organised! In full: Okay, it was made clear beforehand about the start and finish set-ups, the chip collections and the carpark system. But as for the PA systemm - which wasn't used? The first water station which only arrived as I ran past! The Results? The non-prize giving? I could go on however, what lovely sunshine ;-) Date of review: May 11, 2008

In short: Great early winter 5 miler. Really well run, top hospitality. Tewkesbury AC look after you. No wonder runners travel from afar and even students got out of bed before lunchtime to run this race! Date of review: January 11, 2005

In short: Ran it in 2003 and it was cold & icey so, it was nice being warmer and a touch windy. Good to have an Olympian running although he could have ran in wellingtons to make it fair for the rest of us! All the proceeds went to charity : ) In full: Raod works made a section precariously muddy which couldn't be helped. The decision was made after people had entered to do-away-with the prizes and momentoes in aid of a worthwhile charity which was good news but not for the trophy hunters who had traveled many miles in search of 2005 silverware! Oh and free Lucozade, tea & coffee. Date of review: January 11, 2005

In short: Great fun! Afterwards - stiff. A day later - sore. Two days later - can't move!! In full: My first MT event. Weather was fab. The course was exciting, at times even excruciating. Had to walk in three places (several runners dropped-out). Some of the descents were mad - who needs Alton Towers when you can scare the living daylights out of yourself here for just a fiver. Can't seem to locate the results any where yet? Date of review: October 11, 2004
