In short: Fantastic organisation, the quickest half course I know off!
In full: Great course, great atmosphere and definate pb potential as the flattest 13.1 miles I have run- only 58ft gain over the whole race!

In short: What a brutal event, but great concept and great location.
In full: The hills were extreme, but the scenery made up for that. The hog roast, chocolate brownies and free bar at the end, along with hoodie made this a bargin event. My legs are so sore already though!

In short: A couple of steep hills ofset by lots of flat and downhill.
In full: 2 real killers climbs at 3 and 7 miles but otherwise good running, great marshells and plenty of water/ sponge stations. I will definately do this one again.

In short: Great little race
In full: I agree with Kevin, as one of the runners who went wrong, it didn't detract from the race for me, I enjoyed the challenge of trying to get my position back, which I managed to do to finish 1st lady. The marshells are very friendly, the cakes are excellent and I got a lovely hamper of wine and cheese, well worth the extra mile! I will definately be back next year

In short: Fantastic atmosphere, brilliant crowd support.
In full: Very well organised, and carnival like atmosphere for the whole 26.2 miles. My only gripe is with favourable good for age and championship times for women compared to the mens times, aimed at attracting more women to the event why does the goody bag contain so much mens stuff - mens shower gel, mens deoderant, mens moisturiser, razor, not to mention no size option on the t-shirts?

In short: Excellent organisation, great friendly race, one of my favourites.
In full: I was so impressed with everything about todays race. The car parking was well sign posted, the baggage area well managed, the aid stations fantastically stocked (chocolate, Jelly babies, gels!), runners were very friendly and then the goody bag was spot on. There was none of the leaflets you come to expect, instead a picnic and then a nice hoody. Superb, thanks to all involved, I will be back again.

In short: Nice warm up race for VLM
In full: Not too challenging a course but enough gradual inclines to keep it interesting. As others have said a low key but a very friendly race.

In short: A very tough course but lovely scenery and fantastic organisation.
In full: This is definately the hardest, hilliest half I have done, made worse by the wind. I was thrilled with 2nd female but a little disappointed not to get a prize. That said I will be back next year, aiming for 1 better!

In short: Once again the organisation was second to none, great event.
In full: I ended up having to take significant time off during the night due to sickness, but it wasn't game over! I woke 7hrs later having digested food to feel great. I managed to get back on course to do a few more quick laps, it is a hard event but as long as you're prepared and listen to your body it is a magical event! Not sure about a pair next time, the third year may be a 5!

In short: Excellent value and organisation, challenging route but plenty of flat sections too!
In full: Great, friendly race, the cakes and tea at the end were just what you needed. The prize for 1st lady was very good too - pasta, chocolate and wine, just what every runner needs!
