In short: If you only do one run next year why not do this one!
In full: I have done this 3 times now and remains one of my favourites, just disappointed I've not PB'd here!Lots and lots of support and encouragement, I even heard the shout of nearly done as we headed towards the 1st KM mark! Good challenging course, the sun always seems to come out too! The goody bag continues to be one of the best I've received, cereal bars, apple, banana and water. T-shirt with name on is another nice touch. Overall a great race, friendly, busy, bustling and one I always look forward to!

In short: Lovely weather- shame about the race
In full: As already noted organisational problems/parking/late start seemed to distract from the race. The park itself had enough to keep the family busy while I was running. From a personal point I don't like laps (don't know if i missed this in the pre race info or not)Believed there were too many runners for the event, numbers need to be cut if this is to be successful. I know that charity was the winner on the day & I hope those involved in the race continue to raise loads and loads of cash!

In short: Well organised race, only small field of entrants pb possibilities
In full: A thank you as always goes out to the marshalls who directed myself and colleague in the right direction as I with a small field fellow runners to follow soon became difficult! A very friendly local atmosphere numbers swelled by those running/walking the shorter fun run. Would there be more competitors if this were not run on the same day as the Derby 10k? And yes out of the two I'd do this one again any time!

In short: Scenic, busy, well marshalled and a very pleasant run
In full: First time I've seen queues for the gents! One urinal? It was like being a female participant!Never been a fan of laps, always seem to remember the harder parts of the race rather than those easy sections! But this run was gentle with some little gentle inclines (couldn't justify calling them hills)The weather was a little warmer than expected when the wind dropped!

In short: Did this in 2004 & missed nxt couple cus of injury but gr8 to be back to do this one again
In full: I really do like this run. The organisation and support are brilliant. The t-shirt, banana & goody bag are well appreciated and I like the names on the back especially as my name was on twice! A great morning out and will definitely be back barring any injuries! Thanks to all those involved in its organisation

In short: What a great race! No chance of a p.b. hot weather and even hotter hills!
In full: The day was described as the hottest of the year so far and immediately I changed my strategy from getting round in under 2 hours to just getting round! The organisation was great and the marshalls who I spoke to were friendly and full of advice about upcoming (more!) hills. As a holiday maker doing this run I've never been so pleased to see the A30 in my entire life as I knew it meant the end was nigh! I've booked my hol next year a week later, just hope the organisers can accommodate this when they set the date of next years race!

In short: Rearranged course - nothing but praise for organisers and marshalls
In full: With the recent floods I was half expecting to be turned away at the gate, but the race went ahead and I have nothing but praise for the team who rearrnged the course and the marshalls who offered support and warnings of ground that was slippy or hazardous. I achieved a pb to top of a great run. Will be back Thanks
