In full: This is one of my local Races but due to calender clashes I have never been able to do it, this year I was free and enjoyed myself emensly especially the off road section which can often be not to everyones taste. The start is quirky but no different to the Tulip 10k in Spalding. Organisers made everyone feel welcome no matter what the standard of their running and over 520 on the start line in a small rural village close to Peterborough. Great Day out Date of review: May 8, 2011
In short: Well Organised, with great off road section followed by senic roads, shame it was windy and cool In full: As I have not done this half marathon before I enjoyed my day out despite having a nose bleed that lasted the whole event and then to and insult to injury I blistered my feet still with 6 miles to go! But the true stubon runner in me got me round, okay not at my name sakes pace but at mine.
A big thank you to all especially the marshalls who possibly got cold waiting around for the slow animals sorry runners.
I would not put this up in the all time best races as I tend not to rate them like this, I just tried to enjoy my day out and run a bit more Date of review: February 22, 2009
