In short: Not as good route as last year
In full: A total shambles at the start spectators need to be kept out of the start area. The toilets are always a problem they need to be more spaced and better signed. I agree that the dualcarrage way section was boring but with a field of this size this is the way forward. In future years as others have stated Bristol have overcome their problem by having a wave start and this gets over the problem of over crowding. Overall the race was organised well but should bring the start back to Lioyd George Avenue. The goodey bag was very poor for a race of this stature.

In short: challenging but fair and well organised
In full: This was the first time this event has been held but it went off like clockwork. aia would have prefered to have the numbers by post rather than on the day but again this process went very smooth. A big well done to the organisers all the marshalls. And that Hill?

In short: Total shambollick Event
In full: After last years event this was like the Lord Mayors Show. The start was to cramped i was running past walkers after 2 miles as they were in the wrong starting areas but the marshalls did not give a hoot. The course was to narrow for the number of runners and some runners had to run on the wrong side of the course and at one time a runner nearly hit the wheelchair entrant. Due to the narrow course the drinks stations were only on one side of the course and so this caused runners to cross infront of others.I finished in 1.50 and there was no Lucazade left. The finish was a total desaster as there were loads of people trying to cross the line. It took me 35 mins to clear the finish area and was freezing by this time. Last year as the worlds were there we will show the city off but this year we dont care.

In short: A fast course but has its problems
In full: It is like all events of this size lack of space leading to bottlenecks around the course.Wave starts could be the answer. The mile markers were missing for most of the course and the ones that were there should have been placed on poles so that everyone could see them rather than on the ground. The part of the race which went via the shopping area was poorly marshalled and it lead to bimused shoppers as runners zig zaged around them and the bollards. One major positive this year was the baggage area very quick. The actual race its self was designed to allow fast times. The atmosphere was good on a perfect day for racing. The goodey bag again let it down very poor for the money.

In short: Not for the faint hearted
In full: The course is mostly off road and with gates and to very steep hills to overcome any chance of a pb goes out of the window. The course is very senic. The one thing that let it down was no mile markers.

In short: Excellent Event
In full: As with other years a well organised and supported event. The wave start is a very good idea and other events should take note. The atmosphere was fantastic even at the start when it was raining. A big thank you to all the marshals and the Army Cadets who gave out the water and energy drinks. The problem of the chips can be avoided if you tie them in your laces but peaple will learn for next year. The course is a teaser as it has some sneaky inclines but don't let this ditract from a brilliant event. I thought that the reduced rate for the first 24 hours was a great idea. ThANK YOU BRISTOL

In short: A good event all round
In full: The organisation of the event again was Faultless except for the scrum at the start, and hoping to expand next year they will have to review this small detail. The start has a slight incline but this only lasts for the first 2k and then it is almost flat. The prize of a towel makes a change from a T Shirt the only small nigle Sedgemoor has been spelt wrong. But overall a good event and i will be back next year.

In short: Very testing
In full: The course is hilly and so makes it very testing. The weather this year was hot and due to the high hedges not much breeze about. The event is very well organised although the car park could have been sign posted better as it was altered from last year. But again the event was a great success.

In short: Challenging course but fair
In full: The course was over undulating terrain a mixture of road and trail and the weather made it perfect for running. The organisation was very smooth and a medal at the end. Well worth turning up for.
