In short: Hard, hard hard, but great all the same!
In full: Great race, but very very hard - the hills just go on for miles and miles. The scenery was amazing especially at mile 9, and the marshals and supporters (mainly my mum & dad) were great - thank you. My time was terrible, but on some of the hills I was going so slowly that ants were overtaking me! :-)

In short: Great race
In full: Seeing as this is in my home town, I had no excuse not to do it! It was well organised, well marshalled and I really enjoyed it - especially the mud & the cows!

In short: Great race but far tooooooo hot for me!
In full: This was my first marathon and although I found the atmosphere and support amazing and unforgetable, the heat made it so incredibly hard! I thought at times that I wouldn't make it, however I did, and in 4 hours and 23 seconds (and I sooo wanted to get in under 4 hours). I would love to do it again next year, but never again in that heat!

In short: Great Race
In full: Well done to the organisers! Great course, friendly marshals and good atmosphere. I feel more confident for the FLM now - thank you.

In short: Great Race
In full: This was my first 20 and it was a good one. It was hard towards the end but the support was great, and a big thank you to the marshal with the jelly babies!

In short: Well organised race and enjoyable
In full: A good race, well organised, and worth doing. Not as pretty as many other half marathons I've done, but you can’t have it all. Good support on the course, which really helped. The hills in the last 2 miles, although not steep, really slowed me down, but I did manage a PB (even if it was only by 40 seconds). It's a shame about the medals, but just think of the poor person that ordered them!

In short: Very tough, hilly, muddy & slippery, but well worth it.
In full: I found this very very hard, infact at times I don't think I was even moving forwards! The scenery was gorgeous though and I will definitely be doing the other two races.

In short: Nice race overall, but the hills were a killer!
In full: I did enjoy this race, but as a hill-hater it was very challenging, and I found the last mile really hard for some reason?
I made it home just under the time that I was aiming for, so I am happy :-)

In short: Great race!
In full: I thought it was great, lovely weather, fantastic scenery, good organisation and some very much appreciated support from marshals and supporters.

I found it quite hilly though, I'm wondering if I ran a different race to some of you that said it was all down hill? I WISH! I guess I'd better go and do some more hill training.
I will definitely be back next year.
