In short: Cleary a good race but conditions not great yesterday
In full: I enjoyed the day despite the conditions. However, there were one or two organisational issues: (a) the lack of saftey pins; and (b) worse - lack of showers when they had been advertised in the literature and even a marshall told me I could get a nice hot shower at the Marlow striders club house. However, when I walked down there, it was all locked up and several other runners were changing on the verandah!

In full: Race was well organised and though tough there was a friendly atmosphere throughout. Drink stations were well stocked with jelly babies and jaffa cakes. A good event for those looking for something a bit different.

In short: Lack of safe baggage storage was a problem for me - meant I had to run 1/2 amil back to the car 1 and back to start 10 min s before race start. Water stations did not have water ready
In full: Nice race but bug hill made this not a race fro pbs. Pleasant enough but I found the harbour section round the housing estate a bit boring.

In short: I enjoyed the race and the route was quite scenic.. plenty of country lanes and ruaral scenery. A tough hill after 2 miles which lasted a mile was quite testing and later hills were alos quite tough but fast s
In full: The organistion could have been improved ... people were still queueing to put bags in with 30 secs to go! and the water stations were also did not have enough water out on the tables... at one point I had to go backwards and almost had to poor my own!
